“One is only poor if they choose to be.”
It probably is very obvious as it stands now that one’s state of provision in all aspects is a choice one makes. The status one is born into is by chance but as to the status one grows into, that is a decision made by everyday choices usually considered less. Poverty in any aspect of life (it is wrong to calculate wealth only by financial status) is an everyday decision individuals make. Healthy activities and choices lead one to a life of good health and so is spiritual wealth. One’s social wealth is dependent on one’s interaction with and amongst people in a social world. Financial, gaining and maintaining riches is an everyday activity of making choices that draw in and reap riches.
But all this doesn’t even finalise the idea of choosing to be wealthy or poor, being content does. There is always going to be a better level out there, a better option, a better person and a better stage out there. The ability to maintain a content attitude whilst aiming for a higher level has a great influence on one’s state of wealth or poverty. The ability of an individual to sim for the stars whilst yet, appreciating walking on the clouds is the choice one makes that sets the difference. Appreciating and being content with one’s current level whilst moving to the next is what gives one the happiness and satisfaction of a wealthy life, something that even people at a much higher level than these individuals that understand this simple truth lack making them feel lacking and poor.
It is not entirely about the possession or it’s abundance, but the attitude towards the possession and abundance.
